<p>The present invention relates to a system for automatically changing a password and a method for automatically changing a password in a password authentication type device using the same, which may continually change a password for authentication according to preset rules when a target with a password set is used next time whenever the target with a password set is used through password authentication and which may enable only a user or administrator who knows the preset rules to recognize the changed password, thereby fundamentally preventing a phenomenon, such as a theft and an invasion of privacy, induced by the leakage of a password. According to the present invention, a system for automatically changing a password includes: a control unit configured to apply an input variable to a password creation program to generate a plurality of one-time passwords for a sequential use, and to determine whether an input password corresponds to a one-time password in the current order and to authenticate the input password, when the password is inputted; an input unit configured to input a variable and password to the control unit; and an operation unit configured to operate according to control signals when the control unit authenticates a password, wherein the variable includes a fixed variable divided by operation units and a variable changed by a user.</p> |
