PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the movement of a pillar part into a vehicle body when receiving a collision load from a vehicle body sideway.SOLUTION: Side parts 11 which are continuously connected to an attachment part 2 to be attached to a vehicle body, and extend in a vehicle body width direction, and inclined parts 12 which are continuously connected to the side parts 11 and a base part 10 are arranged at edges 1U, 1L of an opening part 1A of a steering support member 1. The inclined parts 12 are inclined with respect to an axial core of the steering support member 1 so that a width of the opening part 1A at the side parts 11 and a width of the opening part 1A at the base part 10 differ from each other. The inclined parts 12 are formed so that the rigidity of the inclined parts becomes lower than those of the side parts 11 and the base part 10. |
