<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which monitors a fall of a subject by inexpensive and simple structure.SOLUTION: An activity quantity measurement device is attached to a subject's body, and measures activity quantity of the subject. The activity quantity measurement device comprises: acceleration measurement means which measures acceleration associated with body movements of the subject; monitoring means which monitors whether or not a detection value measured by the acceleration measurement means exceeds a predetermined threshold; angle measurement means which measures an angle of a main unit of the activity quantity measurement device; and fall determination means which, when the monitoring means determines that the detection value exceeds the predetermined threshold, determines whether or not the subject has fallen on the basis of the angle of the main unit measured by the angle measurement means.</p> |
