<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery monitor device for determining whether or not an on-vehicle storage battery is an authentic product.SOLUTION: When a serial number received from a lithium storage battery is identical to a serial number for check stored in flash memory (S414: Yes), or within a predetermined range (S416: Yes), the storage battery monitor device permits the charging of the lithium storage battery, turns off an alarm light (S420), and transitions to processing (S430) of determining whether an automatic stop condition is satisfied. When the serial number received from the lithium storage battery is not identical to the serial number for check (S414: No), and is not within the predetermined range (S416: No), the storage battery monitor device prohibits the charging of the lithium storage battery, and turns on the alarm light (S422), and when residual capacity of the lithium storage battery is less than capacity with which an idling stop is possible (S424: No), flashes the alarm light on and off (S426), and prohibits the idling stop (S428).</p> |
