The present invention relates to an aqueous coating composition for various color coating on the surface of a portable electronic device, an external element of home appliances, or a case, and to a method for color coating using the same. The present invention relates to an aqueous coating composition for surface coloring, which maintains excellent surficial texture of a base material while expressing various high class colors and providing excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, and to an environmentally friendly method for color coating using the same. Provided is an aqueous coating composition composed of water swelling layered phyllosilicate having interlayer reactivity like cation exchange, inorganic metal oxide nanoparticles, an aqueous resin binder, and other additives. Moreover, provided is a method for color coating composition, which comprises color receiving layer forming step, coloring step, washing and drying/curing step, and extra hard coating layer forming step. |
