PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To point out an ambiguous word in a document written in a natural language only in a place of high ambiguity which needs to be preferentially corrected.SOLUTION: A document analysis system includes: a document quality evaluation part which calculates, as a document quality index, effectiveness in transmitting contents to a reader by utilizing features of an input document; an ambiguity example database in which features of examples differing in ambiguity and ambiguities by the examples are accumulated by ambiguous words which possibly have ambiguities; an example analysis part which inquires of the ambiguity example database whether there is an ambiguous word and examples, and extracts the ambiguous word, its ambiguity, and the presence position in the document as ambiguity example information; a classification precision database in which classification precision is gathered and stored for each ambiguity analysis rule; and an ambiguity analysis condition change part which changes conditions of analysis of ambiguities by using the document quality index and classification precision; and an ambiguity determination part which determines an ambiguity of each ambiguous word on the basis of the changed conditions of analysis of ambiguities. |
