PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging device and a forging method thereof for easily and highly accurately processing a raw material in a bottomed cylindrical shape in a short time by forging.SOLUTION: The forging device for molding the raw material of the forging, comprises an upper die 12 and a lower die 14 for interposingly pressing the raw material 5, an upper punch 11 penetratingly provided in a first hole part 12d formed in the upper die 12, a lower punch 13 penetratingly provided in a second hole part 14d formed in the lower die 14 and a driving control part for controlling the upper-lower dies in driving and controlling the upper punch and/or the lower punch in driving. In a state of substantially keeping a thickness of a raw material part interposingly pressed by the upper die 12 and the lower die 14 in response to a reduction amount of the thickness of the raw material part interposingly pressed by the upper punch 11 and the lower punch 13, the raw material part interposingly pressed by the upper die 12 and the lower die 14 is moved to the upper die 12 side, and driving control is executed for increasing a cylindrical part formed by making a material flow in a clearance between the upper punch 11 and the second hole part 14d. |
