PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoaming agent excellent in a long-term defoaming property (defoaming persistence).SOLUTION: The present invention uses the defoaming agent including (A) hydrocarbon oil that is a liquid shape at 40°C, (B) an oil-soluble polymer and (C) dimethyl silicon oil that is 5-10,000 mm/s in kinetic viscosity at 25°C. Preferably, the content of (A) the hydrocarbon oil that is the liquid shape at 40°C is 0.1-30 wt.%, the content of (B) the oil-soluble polymer is 0.1-15 wt.%, and the content of (C) the dimethyl silicon oil that is 5-10,000 mm/s in the kinetic viscosity at 25°C is 69-99.8 wt.% based on the weight of (A) the hydrocarbon oil that is the liquid shape at 40°C, (B) the oil-soluble polymer and (C) the dimethyl silicon oil that is 5-10,000 mm/s in the kinetic viscosity at 25°C. |
