In some embodiments, a Media Insert may be programmable to allow for further customization of the energized Ophthalmic Lens. The Media Insert may be programmed prior to or during the manufacturing process. Alternatively, the Media Insert may be programmed after the components have been encapsulated, wherein the programming may occur wirelessly. Accordingly, methods of wirelessly programming the Media Insert may be significant.
