A fuel-cell system provided with a fuel cell to which an anode gas and a cathode gas are supplied and which generates electricity in accordance with a requested load. Said fuel-cell system is provided with the following: a pressure-regulating valve that controls the pressure of the anode gas inside the fuel cell; a minimum-anode-pressure setting unit that sets a minimum pressure for the anode gas on the basis of the state of the fuel cell; and an anode-pressure pulsation control unit that makes the anode-gas pressure pulsate so as not to fall below the aforementioned minimum pressure. The minimum-anode-pressure setting unit sets the minimum pressure for the anode gas in accordance with the water-vapor partial pressure of the anode gas in the fuel cell. |
