PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plate-like glass having high bending strength, and a cutting method capable of obtaining the plate-like glass with the high bending strength.SOLUTION: Plate-like glass comprises: a first translucent face and a second translucent face opposed to each other in a plate thickness direction of the plate-like glass; and an outer peripheral end face constituting a peripheral edge of the plate-like glass between the first translucent face and the second translucent face. The outer peripheral end face includes a second inclined face adjacent to the first translucent face, a first inclined face adjacent to the second inclined face, and a side face adjacent to the first inclined face. Surface roughness of the second inclined face is smaller than that of the first inclined face. An Ra value of the surface roughness of the first inclined face is 4.1 μm-100 μm, and an Ra value of the surface roughness of the second inclined is 0.0001 μm-4 μm. |
