Abstract FLUID-DRIVEN TUBE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS II There is provided with a TCV traveling within a transport tube comprising a wall with an internal surface; wherein the tube encloses a plurality of transported check valves with intervals between adjacent transported check valves; wherein each transported check valve is of a generally cylindrical shape and of a deformable material, preferably a semi-rigid foam enclosed between stiff ends, which closely fits within the transport tube and also comprises two or more two or more trailing pawls of a stiff but resilient material whose downstream ends are anchored to the transported check valve whose upstream ends trail along the inner surface of the transport tube; wherein when the transported check valve is moved upstream some or all of the upstream ends of the pawls engage the inner surface of the tube to arrest motion upstream; wherein when the transported check valve is moved downstream the pawls do not arrest motion downstream. |
