The aluminum alloy fin material for a heat exchanger is characterized in that the aluminum alloy fin material for a heat exchanger has a board thickness of less than 0.115 mm, the mean particle diameter of subgrain is 2.5 μm or less, and an intermetallic compound having a longest length of over 3 μm is at 2000/mmor less. A heat exchanger uses the fin material.
