<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a song on a major pentatonic scale or on a minor pentatonic scale to be played almost without having to press down any string by tuning an instrument with six strings to the same tones as the constituent tones of a major pentatonic scale.SOLUTION: Many Japanese nursery songs can be played without having to press down any string by tuning six strings to do, re, mi, sol, la and do. Further, music sheets written exclusively for the instrument enable persons unable to read conventional music sheets to read and play written music.</p> |
