<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of forming a light irradiation area with a highly even illuminance distribution on an object to be irradiated.SOLUTION: The light source unit includes: an LED element for irradiating an object to be irradiated with light; a light guide body for guiding reflection light or fluorescence from the object to be irradiated; and a photo detector for detecting the light from the light guide body. The light guide body includes a light receiving surface in parallel with the light irradiation surface of the object to be irradiated, and a light emitting surface facing the photo detector. The LED element is arranged adjacent to the light guide body in a state that the optical axis of the LED element is in parallel with a light reception axis extending in the normal direction of the light receiving surface of the light guide body. A lens is provided so as to face the light emitting surface of the LED element. The optical axis of the lens is arranged at a position displaced from the optical axis of the LED element in a direction of approaching the light reception axis of the light guide body. In the lens, a surface thereof on the side of the light irradiation surface of the object to be irradiated is a convex surface.</p> |
