a memory that stores instructions; a processor that executes the instructions to perform operations, the operations comprising:
receiving a playfile associated with content, wherein the playfile includes a first hash of a portion of a chunk of the content;receiving the chunk of the content from a source of the content;calculating a second hash of the chunk received from the source of the content;determining if the first hash of the portion of the chunk matches the second hash of the chunk; andidentifying, when the first hash of the portion of the chunk is determined to not match the second hash of the chunk, a new source for obtaining the chunk.
