[Problem] To provide a reciprocating cutting tool which is equipped with a vibration suppression means other than a balance weight so as to further reduce the generation of noise and vibration. [Solution] A jig-saw (1) is provided with: a rod (8) having a blade (6) mounted thereon; a drive section (16) including a motor (20) and a power transmission section (4) which converts the rotational motion of the motor (20) into the reciprocating motion of the rod (8) and reciprocates the blade (6); and a body housing (46) having a handle (47) and covering the drive section (16).
