PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm system whose alarm light can be surely seen by a person to be alarmed and whose alarm tone and alarm vibration are easily transferred to the person to be alarmed.SOLUTION: A gas intake hole 22 is provided on an alarm surface 12 of a housing 10 of a gas alarm device 2. A light emitting device 30 is provided at a position close to one long side of the alarm surface 12. The gas alarm device 2 is mounted on the eyeshade of a helmet. When a person to be alarmed wears the helmet on the head, the alarm surface 12 of the gas alarm device 2 is adapted to look down and the light emitting device 30 is adapted to be located at the tip of the eyeshade. When a gas detector in the housing 10 measures the concentration of a detection object gas in a gas taken in from the gas intake hole 22 to make the light emitting device 30 emit alarm light, the person to be alarmed can see the alarm light. |
