摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an image of a sample reaction in a wide range including outside of a visual field range while reducing the influence of adjacent irradiation regions in a sample, without reducing resolution of the image.SOLUTION: There is provided a laser scanning microscope 100 comprising: an object lens 11; a scanning optical unit 9; a stage 1 capable of moving a sample S in a direction crossing an optical axis of the object lens 11; a photodetector 13 detecting a reaction of the sample S; a frame memory 43 storing therein brightness information on the sample S and scanning position information on laser light while making the brightness information and the scanning position information correspond to each other; an observation range designation unit setting an observation range on the sample S, and dividing the observation range into a plurality of sub-regions that can be scanned by the laser light in a state of fixing the stage 1; a scanning order determination unit determining an order of scanning irradiated regions of the continuously emitted laser light per sub-region so that the irradiated regions are not spatially adjacent to one another; and a control unit 49 sequentially moving the stage 1 for all ranges that can be scanned, and controlling the laser light to scan the sub-regions according to the determined scanning order.
