PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone ventilation structure method for boring an air reservoir cave communicating with a charnel house and a through-hole of penetrating through the air reservoir cave from both side surfaces, in a lower base of an existing gravestone body.SOLUTION: A gravestone body 1 is removed from a sill 11, and an air reservoir cave 14 is formed by gouging out an under surface of a lower base 5 of the gravestone body 1 in a cylindrical shape or a hanging bell shape of a proper diameter and the depth by a cutting tool. Through-holes 15 and 15 are bored from both side surfaces so as to become horizontally a substantially straight line toward the air reservoir cave 14, and outside air and the air reservoir cave 14 are communicated. Afterwards, the charnel house 8 is covered by superposing the lower base 5 on the sill 11, and a mid base 4, an upper base 3 and a rod 2 are stacked in this order, so that the gravestone body 1 is fixed to the sill 11. |
