POWER GENERATOR AND POWER CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator and a power control method, capable of efficiently and rapidly suppressing a voltage rise caused by outputs of distributed power sources at low cost.SOLUTION: A solar cell array 2 generates electricity. A transducer 11 outputs electricity generated by the solar cell array 2 as electricity containing effective power and reactive power. A voltage current detection section 12 measures effective power output by the transducer 11. A controller 13 calculates a target value of the reactive power on the basis of a change of the effective power measured by the voltage current detection section 12 and controls the reactive power output by the transducer 11 so as to become the calculated target value.
