PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairway-side storage which can be installed in a building and effectively used as a spacious storage space without narrowing a space of a stairway even though the storage is adjacent to the stairway daily frequently used in the building.SOLUTION: A side wall 11 is placed adjacent to a stairway K1 connecting upper and lower floors in a building, and serves as a partition between a stairway room 10, in which the stairway K1 is installed, and another adjacent space R. The side wall 11 is constituted of a shelf 12 extending along the stairway K1 and assembled in a checked pattern. Therefore, a storage can be effectively used as a spacious storage space without narrowing a space of the stairway K1 even though the storage is adjacent to the stairway K1 daily frequently used in the building. |
