<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal amplification device with digital pre-distortion, which is a technique of amplifier distortion compensation, that implements a high distortion compensation effect with stable, low computational complexity.SOLUTION: A signal amplification device, a distortion compensation method therefor and a radio transmission device therewith employ: an amplifier; a pre-distorter for compensating for a distortion of the amplifier; an amplifier model section for calculating a parameter of an amplifier model indicating a distortion characteristic of the amplifier and a model inverse gain value indicating an inverse characteristic of the distortion characteristic; an inverse gain processing section for calculating an average inverse gain value which is an average of the model inverse gain value; and an amplifier inverse model section for calculating a parameter of an amplifier inverse model on the basis of the average inverse gain. The pre-distorter performs the distortion compensation by deciding a parameter of the pre-distorter on the basis of the parameter of the amplifier inverse model.</p> |
