PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device that enables meta data to be stored in association with a data body by a simple operation using an electronic mail, when desiring to attach the meta data for use in sorting or retrieving information to the data body of information to be stored on the Internet.SOLUTION: When transmitting meta data to be stored in association with a data body using an electronic mail from a user terminal, the electronic mail is transmitted that has a mail address capable of specifying the meta data set to a destination. A receiver of the electronic mail is configured to: receive all mail addresses having a predetermined domain designated; specify the meta data from information read from an account of the mail address or a sub-domain; and generate an electronic mail processed to a format receivable by a storage device of information (the data body and the meta data) to be stored, and transmit the electronic mail to the storage device. When the electronic mail from the user terminal is directly received by the storage device, a specified meta data is stored in association with the data body.
