Provided is an electric linear actuator which achieves an improvement in the sealing performance of a housing and achieves an improvement in durability by increasing strength against the application of a load. A housing (2) is configured from a first housing (2a) to which an electric motor is mounted, and a second housing (2b) which abuts on an end surface of the first housing, abutting surfaces (21, 22) of the first and second housings (2a, 2b) are each formed into an approximately circular shape, a bottom section (25) is formed in a cylindrical gear housing part (24) which houses a deceleration mechanism (5) of the first housing (2a), and an inner end of the bottom section (25) constitutes the abutting surface (21). Consequently, when two separated housings (2) are fastened by a fixing bolt, the housings (2) can be united by uniform fastening force while being prevented from being deformed, thereby making it possible to achieve an improvement in the sealing performance of the housing (2) and achieve an improvement in durability by increasing strength and rigidity against the application of a load. |
