PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting method and a light emitting device with which it is possible, in an indoor lighting environment of approximately 5,000 lx or less including also a case when detail work is performed, or approximately 1,500 lx or less in general, to achieve such lighting that the colors perceived by a human appear as natural, vivid, highly visible and pleasant colors and objects, as though the environment is a high luminance outdoor environment, regardless of various color rendition metric scores.SOLUTION: When an object is lit by light emitted from the light emitting device, lighting is performed such that the light measured at the location of the object satisfies a specific requirement. In the light emitting device, the light emitted from the light emitting device in the principal radiation direction satisfies the specific requirement. |
