PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for monitoring fuel in a fuel cell system which checks whether fuel branches equivalently to each cartridge of a fuel cell.SOLUTION: An apparatus for monitoring fuel in a fuel cell system includes: a fuel supply header 14 for supplying a fuel gas 11 to a fuel cell module 100 that is a hollow container of a fuel cell 12; branch fuel pipes 17-1 to 17-4 branching from the fuel supply header 14 to supply branch fuel gases 11-1 to 11-4 to cartridges 101-1 to 101-4 that are each a set of a plurality of single cells 105; a laser device 23 provided with a light distributor 19 for distributing laser lights 21-1 to 21-4 radiating into laser measurement parts 18-1 to 18-4 on the branch fuel pipes 17-1 to 17-4, respectively; and a laser reception part 24 for sequentially measuring Raman-scattered lights 22-1 to 22-4 generated by the radiation of the distributed laser lights 21-1 to 21-4. |
