<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge controller for vehicle which can contribute to theft prevention of a vehicle, while suppressing a device mounted on the vehicle from having higher price.SOLUTION: A charging ECU 6 counts the number of charging times for a battery 2 of a vehicle 1, and when the number of charging times exceeds a predetermined times, prohibits charging of the battery 2. After the prohibition of charging, operation by a user is accepted by a head unit 4, and a body ECU 7 determines whether or not the authentication information accepted matches stored authentication information. If both of the information matches, the charging ECU 6 cancels the prohibition of charging, and the battery 2 is charged with the power supplied from a power supply device 9. If the authentication processing fails or a time-out occurs without performing the authentication processing, after the charging is prohibited by the charging ECU 6, warning is performed by means of a horn 5.</p> |
