PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover waste plastic from each stored water where waste plastic crushed pieces and the like are surely separated by generating vortex flow and the like in the stored water and the waste plastic crushed pieces and the like are gathered for each kind in different places by using the difference of specific gravities.SOLUTION: A separation and recovery apparatus of waste plastic comprises: a separation tank (10) to store stored water (W) having a cylindrical part (11) and a bottom (13) shaped at the bottom side of the cylindrical part (11); a charge pipe (20) to charge waste plastic crushed pieces into the stored water (W) of the separation tank (10); agitation means (31) to generate vortex flow in the stored water (W) of the separation tank (10); and a jet water flow unit (40) having a nozzle (41) to inject high pressure water and which is projected at the inner wall of the separation tank (10) and generating upward flow at the outside of the vortex flow in the stored water (W) of the separation tank (10).
