One mode of the invention provides a polyamide solution that achieves both a decrease in the linear expansion coefficient (CTE) of a cast film and a decrease in the phase difference (Rth) in the film thickness direction. One or more embodiments of the invention pertain to a polyamide solution that includes an aromatic polyamide, an inorganic filler and a solvent. Further, one or more embodiments of the invention pertain to a laminated composite material that contains a base and a polyamide resin layer, wherein the polyamide resin layer is laminated upon one surface of the base, said polyamide resin layer being obtained by coating the base with a polyamide solution containing an aromatic polyamide, an inorganic filler and a solvent.
