PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating proliferative diseases such as cancer.SOLUTION: There is provided a combination therapy method of treating proliferative diseases (such as cancer), which comprises: a first therapy comprising administering to an individual an effective amount of a taxane in a nanoparticle composition; and a second therapy which may include, for example, radiation therapy, surgery, administration of chemotherapeutic agents, or combinations thereof. There is provided a method of administering to an individual a drug taxane in a nanoparticle composition on the basis of a metronomic dosing regime. There is provided a combination therapy method of treating proliferative diseases (such as cancer), which comprises: (a) a first therapy comprising administering to an individual an effective amount of a composition comprising nanoparticles comprising a taxane (such as paclitaxel) and a carrier protein (such as albumin); and (b) a second therapy such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or combinations thereof. |
