PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that enables a focus adjustment status of an optical system to be appropriately detected.SOLUTION: The lens barrel comprises: an image formation optical system that includes a focus adjustment lens; a drive part that drives the focus adjustment lens in an optical axis direction; a transmittance/reception part that performs transmittance/reception of a signal to/from a camera body; and a control part that controls the transmittance/reception part so as to transmit a first image plane movement coefficient determined in response to a lens position of the focus adjustment lens included in the image formation optical system and a second image plane movement coefficient not relying on the lens position of the focus adjustment lens to the camera body, repeatedly at a prescribed interval. When causing the second image plane movement coefficient to be repeatedly transmitted to the camera body, the control part causes the second image plane movement coefficient to vary with a time. |
