PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing capable of attaining a friction reduction effect and suppressing the total of flow-out oil.SOLUTION: In a slide bearing 1, halved members 2 and 2 obtained by dividing a cylinder into two in parallel with an axial direction are vertically arranged. At an axial end part of the lower halved member 2, there is formed a thin groove 3 in a circumference direction from the downstream side mating face in the rotational direction to a predetermined bearing angle, so that a circumferential edge part 2a is formed on the axially outer side of the thin groove 3. Moreover, the circumferential edge part 2a on the axially outer side is formed so as to be one step lower than the face abutting against a surrounding crankshaft. |
