<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a polyether ether ketone resin having excellent mechanical characteristics, chemical resistance, optical characteristics and electric characteristics and capable of giving a molded article exhibiting stable electric characteristics when the resin is prepared as a semiconductive resin composition.SOLUTION: A production method of a polyether ether ketone resin having 5 ppm or lower content of diphenyl sulfone is provided, which comprises: producing a polyether ether ketone resin in diphenyl sulfone as a polymerization solvent; and subjecting a polyether ether ketone resin powder to (a) heat treatment in air or an inert gas at temperature of the glass transition temperature of the resin or higher and lower than the melting point of the resin or subjecting the powder to (b) heat treatment in pressurized water at temperature of the glass transition temperature of the resin or higher and lower than the melting point of the resin.</p> |
