TERMINAL METAL FITTING, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal metal fitting that is low in contact electric resistance at a contact part and that is good in manufacturability, even when using aluminum or an aluminum alloy as a basic material, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A terminal metal fitting 10 comprises: a conductor connection part 11 to which a conductor of an electric wire is connected; and an electrical connection part 12 provided to extend from the conductor connection part 11, and electrically connected with a partner side terminal metal fitting to be connected. The terminal metal fitting 10 is configured by using aluminum or an aluminum alloy as a basic material. A contact part 120 to be directly contacted with the partner side terminal metal fitting is formed on the electrical connection part 12. The contact part 120 consists of a solder layer formed by soldering a solder material onto the basic material surface forming the electrical connection part 12 by an ultrasonic wave.
