The objective of the present invention is to provide an image processing technology which is capable of instantly selecting a desired time range out of the entire duration of a moving image. An image processing device (3) according to the present invention comprises: a moving image acquisition unit (110) which acquires a moving image; a time range setting unit (120) which sets a first time range (TR1) and a second time range (TR2) within the entire duration of the moving image; a thumbnail generation unit (130) which generates a first thumbnail image (SG1) and a second thumbnail image (SG2) which are still images obtained by statistically processing frame images in the first time range (TR1) and the second time range (TR2), respectively; and a display unit (34) which displays the first thumbnail image (SG1) and the second thumbnail image (SG2) such that the images can be visually compared. |
