<p>The fork is cut into two pieces by abrasive waterjet. The toe-piece is formed with sidebars which, when the toe-piece is welded into the cover, greatly enhance rigidity of the cover-assembly. The heel-piece carries the load cells. In an option, a peninsula is cut in the heel-piece by waterjet, and the peninsula serves as the flexure-member of the loadcell.</p> |
