PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a weak person to safely and easily perform fire fighting without involving a jump in cost, in a hand-operated fire extinguishing appliance.SOLUTION: A hand-operated fire extinguishing appliance 1A including a fire extinguisher 3 jetting a fire extinguishing agent from a jet part 37 by removing a safety pin 35 restricting operation of an operation lever 31a and depressing the operation lever 31a includes: a base part 2 from which a cylinder 30 is erected and which is disposed on a floor face; and a jet rod 6 comprising a deformable flexible pipe 5 which is extended from the jet part 37 and is longer than the full length of the cylinder 30, and a straight tube-like hard pipe which is extended from the tip side thereof and is longer than the full length of the cylinder 30. The base part 2 side and the operation lever 31a tip side are connected by a traction member 7 having a coil spring 70, and the operation lever 31a is energized to a valve opening direction by elastic contractive force of the coil spring 70. By removing the safety pin 35, the operation lever 31a is depressed to jet the fire extinguishing agent from the jet rod 6 tip. |
