<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid recovery apparatus which, when a waste liquid is recovered during cleaning of a paint gun having a bell shaped spray head, can liquefy the atomized waste liquid by using a simple structure while inhibiting smears caused by the atomized waste liquid adhering to an inner surface of a spray head, and to provide a waste liquid recovery method.SOLUTION: A waste liquid recovery apparatus 100 for recovering a waste liquid during cleaning of a paint gun 3 having a bell cup 11 includes: a box body 1 where an insertion hole 4, into which a tip part of the paint gun 3 is inserted, is formed on an upper surface; a waste liquid reception part 8 which is provided at a lower part of the box body 1 and receives the waste liquid; a waste liquid feeding pipe 9 which is connected to the waste liquid reception part 8 and feeds the waste liquid in the waste liquid reception part 8; and a pillar member 5 which is provided immediately below the insertion hole 4 in the box body 1 and has an upper surface 5a which faces an opening side end surface 11d of the bell cup 11 during the cleaning.</p> |
