A container (30) is formed by direct blow molding in which a parison is used. The container (30) is provided with a container body section (31), a neck section (32), and a shoulder section (33). The container body section (31) has an internal space that stores an object to be stored. An opening (30H), which receives the object to be stored in the internal space, is formed in the neck section (32). The shoulder section (33) connects the container body section (31) and the neck section (32). The container body section (31) has a first width (W1) in a first direction, and a second width (W2) in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, in a cross-section view in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which the cylindrical core of the parison extends. The ratio of the second width (W2) to the first width (W1) is two to ten. The container body section (31) has a flat shape in a cross-section view. The neck section (32) and the shoulder section (33), and the shoulder section (33) and the container body section (31) are each contiguously connected by a curved surface. The diameters of the curved surfaces are 7 mm to 50 mm. |
