A light guiding plate (19) comprises a light incident surface (22), a light exit surface (19a), an opposite plate surface (19f), and light reflection patterns (LRP). The light reflection patterns (LRP) consist of light reflection portions (23) formed on the opposite plate surface (19f) and have such a distribution that: the distribution density of the light reflection portions (23) in a region on an end side in a second direction is relatively higher than that in a region on the central side in the second direction; the distribution density of the light reflection portions (23) in a region on the central side in a first direction is relatively higher than that in a region on the end side near the light incident surface (22) in the first direction; and the difference of the distribution densities of the light reflection portions (23) between in the region on the end side in the second direction in the region on the central side in the first direction and in the region on the central side in the second direction in the region on the central side in the first direction is relatively larger than the difference of the distribution densities of the light reflection portions (23) between in the region on the end side in the second direction in the region on the end side near the light incident surface (22) in the first direction and in the region on the central side in the second direction in the region on the end side near the light incident surface (22) in the first direction.
