PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage rolling mill equipped with a small-diameter work roll, capable of rolling a rolled material with large deformation resistance, while preventing the small-diameter work roll from carelessly moving or warping.SOLUTION: A multistage rolling mill 1 has a pair of work rolls 2 for rolling a roller material W, and an intermediate roll 7 or a backup roll 3 for supporting the work rolls 2. The multistage rolling mill 1 has a support unit 12 composed of support rolls 10 contacting with the work roll 2 and contacting with the intermediate roll 7 or the backup roll 3 adjacent to the work roll 2, and arranged on an upstream side and a downstream side along a pass line; and an integrated frame 11 for supporting the support rolls 10. The support unit 12 is arranged between the work roll 2 and the intermediate roll 7 or the backup roll 3 adjacent to the work roll 2. |
