Provided is a lighting device equipped with a light source module and a device body. The light source module is equipped with: an elongated support body that supports a substrate on which a light source is disposed; and a cover that has a pair of plates inclined in such a manner that the width widens from the substrate side toward the direction in which light is emitted from the light source, and covers the substrate supported by the support body. The device body has an engagement part that engages with a part to be engaged, which is disposed on the light source module, and supports the light source module via engagement of the engagement part and the part to be engaged, so as to be capable of being attached and detached. Thus, a lighting device with improved ease of assembly is provided.
