<p>Provided are a remote access method and a server. The method comprises: a remote access proxy receiving an on-line message sent by a device in a local network, establishing a virtual device for the device, and replacing address information in a device description file and a service description file of the device with address information about the virtual device; sending a message, which describes the virtual device as being in an on-line state, to a control point of a remote network; receiving a first request message sent to the virtual device by the control point; if it is determined that the device is in a sleep state, sending a wake-up command to the device; and when the device is woken up, according to the first request message, constructing a second request message which has the same function as the first request message, and sending same to the device. The remote access method and the server provided in the present invention enable the operation of the control point in the remote network to be simplified.</p> |
