PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a safety check of a resident without requiring information on a specific electronic apparatus distributed in a household.SOLUTION: A resident safety check system has: a monitoring data server 3 that serves as a storage device accumulating measurement data on an energy consumption amount measured by a smart meter 1 installed in an object household 9 of a safety check; and a monitoring center device 4 that monitors safety of a resident of the object household 9 of the safety check on the basis of the measurement data accumulated in the monitoring data server 3. The monitoring center device 4 is configured to comprise: a control part 4A that, when an action stoppage time of the resident of the object household 9 of the safety check or an action continuous time thereof is equal to or more than a prescribed time, determines that the resident of the object household 9 of the safety check is in an emergency state on the basis of the measurement data accumulated in the monitoring data server 3; and a display part 4C that, when it is determined that the resident of the object household 9 of the safety check is in the emergency state, displays warning information. |
