摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration estimating method for a steel material in a concrete structure, the method making it possible to accurately estimate deterioration of the steel material in the concrete structure in a salt-damaging corrosive environment or the progress of the deterioration.SOLUTION: A method is for estimating, by use of a three-dimensional finite-element method, the deterioration of the steel material of a concrete structure, which includes the steel materials buried in concrete, in a salt-damaging corrosive environment. The method comprises a first step in which, when the steel material is three-dimensionally modeled in a computer, the framework of the steel materials is formed applying a truss element, a plurality of nodes composing the truss elements on the surface of the steel material uses a film element that has a surface area, solid elements are used for a vertical cross-section of the steel materials, and each of the nodes composing the film element is regulated in terms of chloride ion concentration and data about a surface area unique to the node, thereby carrying out modeling; and a second step in which a chloride ion concentration is calculated for each of the nodes composing the surface of the steel material, then a corrosion current density is calculated, and the corrosion amount at each node is then calculated.
