PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a center side and appropriately switch a connection destination according to the intention of a user, when one device handles cards having different functions.SOLUTION: In a settlement terminal device 6 that is connected to settlement servers 3a-3n and 5a-5n in connection destinations via a network (settlement network 1), a wired or wirelessly connected card reading unit 64 reads card brand information from a card, and a control unit 60 connects with one of the settlement servers which is selected on the basis of the card brand information, and transmits encryption information which is encrypted by using encryption key information corresponding to the selected settlement server. |
