The invention relates to a method for determining the refractive power of a transparent large-area object (10), for example a windshield, a visual aid, a cockpit glazing, a helmet visor, or the like. The invention is characterized in that the refractive power of the transparent object can be determined at each location using a camera (16) in an automatic manner with a lower susceptibility to errors. For this purpose, a first image of a first line grid (14, 14') is detected through the object (10) at at least one specified location of the object using a camera (16), and the line spacing of the first image and/or the rotation of the lines relative to the first line grid (14, 14') is then determined by means of a calculating unit using the first image at the at least one specified location and is used to ascertain the refractive power (11, 11.1, 11.2, 11. 3) at the at least one specified location of the object (10). The invention further relates to a corresponding device for determining the refractive power of a large-surface transparent object (10). |
