<p>A blood glucose sensor is disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, the blood glucose sensor capable of measuring blood glucose by detecting the polarimetric phase difference for a material on a sensing surface comprises: a light source portion for providing an optical signal; an optical fiber which is optically connected to the light source portion so as to generate the polarimetric phase difference to the optical signal and comprises a core and a clad, in which at least a part of the core is exposed to the outside of the clad to form a sensing surface and a high-refractive-index layer is deposited on the sensing surface of the exposed core; and a detector optically connected to the optical fiber so as to detect the polarimetric phase difference of the optical signal.</p> |
