PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector in which burning of a substrate can be prevented without increasing the size even if the load is subjected to unexpected extention of the circuitry. SOLUTION: Power is supplied from a power supply to a load via a substrate 5 provided therebetween, and the substrate 5 has an allowable current value lower than a rated current value with which a power supply side interruption section, provided on the power supply side and interrupting power supply by an overcurrent flowing between the power supply and the substrate 5, is actuated. In such a joint connector 1, the substrate 5 is provided with a load side interruption section 7 which interrupts power supply between the substrate 5 and the load when the current flowing through the load reaches the actuation current value, and the upper limit of the actuation current value is set lower than the allowable current value.
